This week is babywearing international week. In honor of that I’m writing my story . During my pregnancy I was familiar with babywearing but somehow I was more interested with purchasing a stroller. Added to this I decided to obtain an elastic yarn in case that my baby wants to be worn. When we went on childbirth course class they told us that babywearing is the best for your baby. This sounded all intresting to me but as a first time mom I could not really imagine how this would work in real life. I thought that my baby will like the stroller. But nothing of that. She hated it actually. First couple of weeks she was ok in the stroller. But arround the 4th week she got colics and that was really terrible. She cried so much and refused the stroller . I tried this elastic yarn but she was nervous with it as well.. I did not know what to do anymore. She slept on my chest all day and at night she was crying. I was tired and my husband as well. After some research on the internet I dedided to try another carrier called Ergo. To my surprise she liked it. Inside she was calm and I got even the opportunity to go out with her. She could sleep inside too! She was only 6 weeks old when we started to carry her. From then I continued to carry her till she got 11 month old. Everyday we were at least for an hour outside, even on -10 degrees. The whole winter she was healthy and fine. At 11 months she partially accepted the stroller but I had to take the carrier with me just in case she wanted to be carried.She is now almost 14 months old and she still likes it.
